I ordered this textbook for a Career Success Class at school and was overall pleased with its presentation. It gives you a basic guideline to help you identify your career needs and how to approach them. I am sue there are other books that are just as good or better, but this one did its job, so I am satisfied.

I got this book because it was the required textbook for a community college career-planning class I took. At first glance, it’s a pretty plain and uninspiring book, and having read the entire thing cover-to-cover, I didn’t find anything inside that changed my mind about it.
This book really read like a required-basic-course textbook that seemed mainly directed at unimaginatively guiding students into the traditional labor-oriented workforce. It is presented as a workbook, with perforations for tear-out pages for exercises, none of which was particularly enlightening.
I’d suspect that almost anything else out there would be more engaging to read and more helpful for someone really interested in figuring out what they’d like to do for a living.
